So, what did everybody think of the new CD? I LOVE it!! ^_^  I think my favorite song is Psycho Under Min Hatt.
Who is the female voice on the album?

And does anyone have a translation of this:
All I got was "West Side" and "fucker" :/

or this, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xs6LEk6aSDI

Also, as an aside, it's been kinda dead in here, we need to get the ball rolling! :p

I saw on DMA about the new song "Smil Far" on the sampler album Hjertestups for the Tyrili foundation. Does anybody have an mp3 they could upload, please? I really want to hear it;  I tried itunes and youtube but no luck. I'm in the States, so I can't buy it and shipping is atrocious. :(
Thanks so much!

If anyone is on Tumblr, or is just looking for a primer of sorts with which to introduce new people to Kaizers Orchestra, I wrote up a lengthy post including as much of the information I felt was important as possible.

I also totally wrote it as if I were giving a lecture. I didn't originally intend it that way, but the longer I worked on it...

So...the new Skambankt album? What do you think? Any good? I have not heard it yet (nor do I know anything about it), cuz DMA posted, well, nothing about it recently, so, just wondering if I should rake the internet for it; if it's a full cd or just a couple songs or what....Just curious what y'all thought really. :)

Did you guys know the band has a page on TV Tropes?

If you aren't familiar with the site, "Tropes are devices and conventions that a writer can reasonably rely on as being present in the audience members' minds and expectations. On the whole, tropes are not clichés. The word clichéd means "stereotyped and trite." In other words, dull and uninteresting. We are not looking for dull and uninteresting entries. We are here to recognize tropes and play with them, not to make fun of them." (From the front page.)

Anybody can add/edit the pages. I know there's a lot more that can be added to their page, but my brain ran out after adding just a few. (It's so hot here in Texas; brains don't last very long.) Once you figure out how (it's pretty easy to pick up), it can also be rather fun and interesting.

But I warn you: It's very easy to get lost on TV Tropes. Very easy. >.>

So, old news is old, but I just discovered it, because, well, I can't understand Norwegian.

Apparently Janove wrote music for a family musical which opened in November 2007, "Det Tusende Hjertet."
Does he sing? What is the musical about? Does anyone have any more info or songs? Please? I am much intrigued... :)

Also, on Geir's Wikipedia it says he and Janove also had a band called "Destruction" Is that true? I know I can't really trust Wiki...

Another recent discovery of mine was the song Janove did with Grand Island "Suffer / Lid, Min Kjære" I uploaded it in case anyone didn't already have it: http://www.sendspace.com/file/7ihzpy

There's a short interview with Geir here: http://www.jaerbladet.no/modules/module_123/proxy.asp?C=64&I=37705&D=2&mid=173
and a bigger one about Uncle Deadly here:

and I was wondering if anyone could translate them for me...Please?

The internet translators were telling me junk like: "..but after to have hung along with for instance Morten Abel at Cementen in Stavanger, saw able I say that facts acting absolutely bustle at bar at evening walk in all crash down."

PS. Is it just me or is "Morten Abel" the most epic awesome name ever?! :p

So...Uncle Deadly is not on itunes in the US. Which means I'm sad and angry (and I'll probably take it out on a chicken sandwich).
I really wanted to buy it (that's the first thing I did this morning was check itunes!) and I can't find websites that ship here... :(
So, how is the album? And can anyone possibly upload it for me? Please?
